I was really nervous to have all four of my wisdom teeth removed, as I am a professional voice user, in addition to being quite nervous (as many people are) around dentistry and operations! However, Mr Prabhu ensured that my experience was as comfortable and calm as possible.
In our pre-operative consultation, Mr Prabhu was completely transparent with me about the potential risks of the surgery, but explained clearly how he would limit these risks. I was able to make an informed and confident decision to go ahead with the surgery.
Leading up to the surgery, Mr Prabhu communicated clearly and proactively with myself and the attending anaesthetist, and we were able to proceed in a manner which posed the least risk to my voice. His manner on the day of the surgery was friendly and calm, putting me completely at ease, and the surgery itself was uneventful (relaxing, even!) and was over in no time. I have now fully recovered with no complications, and no more swollen or infected wisdom teeth!

Satheesh graduated in both Medicine and Dental Surgery. After his Medical graduation, he worked in various surgical specialties including vascular surgery, orthopaedics & plastic surgery. He completed his specialist training in the North West Deanery. This involved training in various teaching and university hospitals. He has done two JCST (Joint Committee on Surgical Training, Advisory body to four royal colleges) & GMC approved interface fellowships. He completed his Trauma & Reconstructive Fellowship from Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham and did his advanced training in Head & Neck Cancer and Reconstruction from Central Manchester University Hospitals and Christie Hospital, Manchester.
